We are very excited to announce our return to the incredible Château de Challain!

We are offering just 11 photographers the experience of a lifetime at the jawdropping Château de Challain in France, shooting models in stunning couture around the endless environs of a dreamscape 19th-century palace. You will stay with us for seven nights in the castle itself, where you will shoot, wine, dine and relax in the company of like minds including the models, styling team and assistants.

We will be shooting for five full days, with 4 agency models adorned in a rich breadth of top designer styling to make Vanity Fair-esque opportunities for your portfolios and fashion story submissions. We are striving for intricate, spectacular styles, commissioning the creation of bespoke, unique looks from 3 top designers.

Go back in time and enjoy the elegance and enchantment of 1800s France in a fairytale château...

Challain was built as a private residence in 1854. Neogothic in design, it reveals the lifestyle of the nineteenth century while providing guests with all modern amenities. The American owners have decorated it in luxurious style in keeping with its history and charm; each room is uniquely decorated, furnished with antiques and opening onto views of the lush green park surrounding the château. This is a beautiful beast of a chateau and we've managed to get it as our playground for a whole week.

What is included

Your place on our adventure includes accommodation (large shared doubles), and full board catering which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, refreshments each day, with beer & wine. There will be two grand dinners - a midweek barbecue and a grand finale dinner.

Your place includes full commercial model rights release for all pictures you shoot on 5 full days' shooting. We provide styling, makeup & hair, flash lighting by Broncolor and constant HMIs and LEDs by Lupolux. This is a grand-scale production where everything is included, except for your flight to France and airport transfers.

The Château de Challain, in the Western Loire of France (map), is located one hour drive from Nantes Airport and 3.5 hours' drive from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Join a majestic venture
French Fairytale was our first event at Challain in 2014, proving the success of the location which provided endless inspiration for all the photographers. We hope to repeat the success, good weather and social camaraderie of French Fairytale but with a new styling twist!

After years of experience running our productions, we know how to run a large team and our regular clients have come to know they can trust us for a smooth experience.
